Who are we?
Madeline Fox and David Bowen are the two halves of The Ginger Fox. 🦊 Madeline runs the business, David runs the bars.
To explain a little about why we’re here: Madeline grew up in Winston Salem, NC, and met David when they trained as actors together at UNCSA. It’s a long story, but we ran away and joined the circus in SE Asia, where we fell in love with hospitality and fancy cocktail bars, but most importantly: the experiences we had in them.
Our dual passions for entertainment and entertaining eventually brought us back to NYC where we lived and worked until 2020.
The last few years have changed things for a lot of people, but it accelerated our 5 year plan and now we’re back in Winston Salem and excited to share our flair for the dramatic and staunch commitment to craft with the town that’s always been home.
