JULY 5 - Cocktails for the People: FREE CLASS!!!
It's that time again: our annual free cocktail class at easytalk. First come, first serve. Limit of 50 guests. No pre-sold tickets or reservations, just free drinks and cocktail knowledge - so get here early, grab a drink from the easy bar and a seat on the back patio. Class starts at 4. Light snacks and cocktail tastings will be provided on the house.
If you're new to Sunday School, this is the place to start! Spirit, citrus, sugar + flavor. Learn about our favorite cocktail formula + how to create endless cocktail variations with just a few bottles. 2PM CLASS ADDED!!!
July 19 - Rum Tasting + Cocktails
Learn all about David’s favorite cocktail spirit family - taste a variety of rums from all over the world, learn about their various production methods and how to use rum in its many forms in cocktails.
July 26 - Intro to Cocktail Science: Ice & Dilution
Learn about the unsung hero of the cocktail world and the easiest way to elevate your at-home cocktail game: Ice, in all it's shapes and sizes. Do some experiments, take some measurements, shake some cocktails - this session is perfect for the seasoned home bartender who wants to pick up some new skills, or the novice who is just getting started.
August 2 - Aperol Cocktails: Beyond the Spritz
Aperol Spritzes are great and all, but there's so much more to the classic Italian Aperitif. Learn our go-to Spritz recipe and experience the versatility of Aperol by tasting a variety of modern classic cocktails.
August 9 - New Orleans Cocktails
The Big Easy has given us many of our most beloved and classic cocktails - cocktails from the 1800s that we still drink today! Learn about two New Orleans classics and a little about the history of the city that gave birth to the modern "cocktail." Note: we'll be making some boozier spirit-forward cocktails during this session.
August 16 - Mezcal Tasting + Cocktails
Learn all about Mezcal, one of the world's fastest growing and most exciting spirits categories. Taste 6 Mezcals, learn how and why they are made, and most importantly - how to mix your perfect Mezcal cocktail!
August 23 - Hot Grill Summer: Spicy Margaritas
Tis the season for Spicy Margaritas. Whether you like just a hint of spice or enough to melt your face off, we'll teach you how we get the heats (and the sweets) into your cocktail!
DETAILS: Unless otherwise noted*, our standard $60 ticket price includes a reserved seat in class, 2 full-sized cocktails, a cocktail guide, and light bar snacks. Classes are 1.5-2 hrs. Reservations are required. We ask for a nonrefundable 50% deposit to hold seats, payable online, at the bar or over the phone. The remaining 50% will be due at the conclusion of class. Unless otherwise noted, classes will be held at 4pm.
*'Tasting + Cocktails' classes include 6 tasting pours, 1 full cocktail, a tasting + cocktail guide, and bar snacks. Tasting classes are normally priced at $75/guest.
